How to Get to MYA Valencia + Prices and Hours 2026

Everything you need to know before going to MYA Valencia: exact address, how to get there, opening hours, ticket prices, dress code and entry policy.

If you landed here looking for the address of MYA Valencia, ticket prices or simply how to get there without any hassle, you are in the right place. This guide is built to answer all the practical questions that come up before a night at MYA, from transport to what you can and cannot bring with you.

Exact address and how to get there

MYA Valencia Carrer de Juan Verdeguer, 16, 46024 Valencia

The club sits inside the City of Arts and Sciences complex, at the southern end of the former Turia riverbed. If you open Google Maps and search “MYA Valencia” or type the address directly, the pin will drop you at the correct access point.

Open in Google Maps

The area can feel a bit disorienting at night if you have never been there, because the surroundings of the City of Arts have an architectural scale that is nothing like a normal neighbourhood. The entrance to MYA is well signposted and you will find club staff outside guiding people who arrive.

Detailed transport options

For most people coming from central Valencia, a taxi or Uber is the most comfortable solution and the one that best fits club hours.

Approximate cost: between 8 and 12 euros from the usual starting points (Ruzafa, El Carmen, Xàtiva, Gran Vía). The exact price depends on where you set off, the time and demand.

Travel time: 10-15 minutes in normal conditions. On special nights like Fallas, traffic can stretch that time.

Availability: At 1:00 and 2:00 in the morning, Uber usually has waits of 3-5 minutes. Taxis are also available at the usual taxi ranks around the centre.

For the return trip: After 5:00 in the morning, taxis line up outside the venue precisely to pick up people leaving. Uber can be less reliable at that hour because drivers are wrapping up their night shifts. Use the licensed taxis waiting outside.

Metro

The most useful metro lines for getting to MYA are Line 3 (Red Line) and Line 5 (Orange Line). The closest stops are Alameda and L’Oceanogràfic.

From either of these stops, MYA is a 10-15 minute walk, or a short 3-5 euro taxi ride if you do not fancy walking.

Important limitation: the Valencia metro stops running at roughly 1:30 a.m. on weekends. That means this option only works for getting there, not for coming back. If you plan to take the metro to go out, you need to have your return transport sorted before leaving home.

The exception is Fallas nights, when Metrovalencia extends service to 24 hours on the most important dates. Check the official Metrovalencia calendar to confirm which nights this applies.

Bus

The EMT Valencia lines that pass near the City of Arts complex include the 19 and 95, among others. Daytime service reaches the area well, but the night bus runs at very low frequencies. For getting to or from a night at MYA, it is not the most practical option.

Walking through the Turia gardens

If you are in Ruzafa or in the southern part of the city centre, walking along the former Turia riverbed is doable and quite pleasant when the weather is good. The route is lit, runs through one of the most beautiful linear parks in Spain and takes between 35 and 45 minutes depending on where you start.

It is not for every group or every type of footwear, but if conditions line up, the walk home at sunrise has its own appeal.

Electric scooter rentals

The apps Seat MÒ, Tier and Voi operate in Valencia and have stations spread around the centre and Ruzafa. For one or two people in comfortable shoes, the scooter ride along the Turia works well.

Not suitable if the group is large, if anyone is in heels, or if the weather is not on your side.

Car and parking

There is underground parking available next to the City of Arts and Sciences complex. If someone in the group is the designated driver, this is the most comfortable option for both getting there and going back.

Parking access is signposted inside the complex. There are no exit time restrictions for those who park there.

Opening hours 2026

MYA Valencia opens during the following slots:

Thursday, Friday and Saturday: from 00:00 (midnight) to 06:00

Special Sundays: from 23:00 to 05:00 (only on selected calendar dates, such as during Fallas or for one-off events)

The venue does not open on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday during regular weeks. Special Sunday openings are announced in advance in the official programme.

Best time to arrive

This is the detail that most often makes the difference between a great night and one that starts with a 45-minute queue or a room that has not warmed up yet.

The optimal time to arrive is between 1:00 and 1:30 a.m.

Before 1:00, the venue is still in its early phase: the dancefloor has not picked up temperature, the atmosphere is just starting. Arriving at midnight puts you in the room before things truly kick off.

After 2:00, on the highest-demand nights -big Saturday line-ups, Fallas nights, events with international artists- the queue can build up to 30-45 minutes of wait. It is not a given, but it is frequent enough to keep in mind.

Arriving between 1:00 and 1:30 with a ticket bought online solves both problems: you walk in at the best moment of the night and you skip the peak-hour queue.

Ticket prices and booking system

Ticket prices for MYA vary depending on the event, the booked artist and the time slot. There is no single fixed price: the logic is tiered pricing and availability.

How the system works:

  • Online tickets are always cheaper than paying at the door
  • Early bird tickets, available to the first buyers for each event, have the lowest price
  • Tickets before 1:00 or 2:00 (depending on the event) cost less than later access
  • Once online tickets sell out, entry is only available at the door if there is still capacity, at a higher price

Ticket types:

General admission: access to the main room. Price varies by event.

Early entry ticket: discounted access if you arrive before a certain time (usually before 1:00 or 1:30 a.m.). The most affordable option available online.

VIP table: see the specific section below.

VIP experience: tables, bottles and dedicated service

The VIP option at MYA is designed for groups who want to organise the night in a different way: no waiting at the entrance, with a reserved table and bottle service throughout the night.

What a VIP table includes:

  • Reserved table in the best visibility area of the room, guaranteed throughout the night
  • Premium bottle service: selection includes champagne, vodka, whisky and soft drinks
  • Dedicated hostess for service throughout the night
  • Direct access through the VIP entrance, no queue
  • Access to the reserved area of the room

Price: varies depending on group size, date and table availability. For high-demand dates -Fallas nights, New Year’s Eve, events with international artists- tables sell out quite far in advance.

To check availability and book, the most direct route is WhatsApp. The team responds quickly and handles every detail of the night from the moment you reserve:

Payment methods inside the venue

MYA accepts the usual payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, and contactless
  • Cash: at the bar and at the ticket booth
  • ATM: there is a cash machine available inside the venue if you need it

You do not need to carry cash if you use a card, but having a backup note on you never hurts in case of anything unexpected.

Dress code: what to wear and what not to

Access to MYA requires a standard of presentation that the door team applies without exceptions. It is called smart casual, and the most practical way to understand it is this: what you would wear to dinner at a decent restaurant, not what you would wear to the gym.

What works:

  • Dress trousers or jeans in good condition (without excessive rips)
  • Shirt, blouse or quality t-shirt
  • Dress or skirt
  • Dress shoes, ankle boots, designer trainers in good condition

What gets you turned away:

  • Sportswear: tracksuits, training tops, sports or running trousers
  • Flip-flops or beach sandals
  • Visibly worn or dirty clothing
  • Caps on certain nights (the door team will let you know on the spot)

The rule is not aesthetic fussiness. It is a coherent part of what the venue offers. A club with international-level programming maintains an environment that matches it. If you are unsure whether a specific item might be a problem, the answer is probably yes.

Minimum age and ID

The minimum age to enter MYA is 18 years old, no exceptions.

ID must be the original document: DNI, passport or current residence card. Photocopies, photos of your DNI on your phone or expired documents are not accepted.

If you bring someone in the group who does not have the original on them, they will not be able to enter. There is no negotiating on this point.

What you cannot bring

Large backpacks: MYA does not have a cloakroom, so medium or large backpacks are not allowed. Small handbags or clutches are no problem.

Bag policy: bags of a reasonable size (small shoulder bag, wallet) are fine. What is restricted are large bulky items.

No cloakroom: there is no left luggage or cloakroom service at the venue. Keep this in mind when deciding what to bring.

Re-entry

MYA does not allow re-entry. Once you leave the venue, you cannot come back in with the same ticket. If you know you are going to step out for a smoke or any other reason, bear in mind that you will lose your access. The ticket is single use.

Accessibility

The MYA venue has access for people with reduced mobility. If you need specific information about accessibility or have any particular requirement that needs prior coordination, get in touch via WhatsApp and the team will guide you before you arrive:
